Spam messages to coordinators
Community Weaver uses a captcha to reduce the likelihood that robots or spammers can automatically use the contact form.
Unfortunately, individuals can still submit spam-like content in the contact form.
Community Weaver allows ANYONE to use the contact form to send a message to your coordinators. As a result, individual scammers might send a message via the contact form. To eliminate this possibility we would need to prevent anyone from sending contact form messages, which would prevent the public from being able to reach you easily.
Also, ANYONE can wrote to your [[Site_email_address|sirte's email address, which could be another source of spam message to coordinators
What to do?
Do not be startled by people who misuse the contact form for attempted spam or phishing messages. In such cases, just delete the bogus message. This is the annoyance that we have to tolerate in order to allow everyone to easily write to coordinators.
